Coming to America for his education in the 1970s, CEO, Zack Farahmand, attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute and earned an Engineering degree with honors and later an MBA degree with honors at Boston University. He began his professional career in New England by starting a company, Massachusetts Medical Computer Associates, that helped pioneer the development of the medical software industry. He went on to hone his skills in finance, and as a consultant and negotiator, while working at Keystone Mutual Funds and then at Fleet Bank, now a part of Bank of America. Zack recognized that America is truly the land of opportunity that rewards innovators and entrepreneurs, and, in 1996, Zack's entrepreneurial spirit gave him the drive to found Axiom Capital Group, Inc., a merchant banking firm offering management, financial advice, and private equity support primarily to middle-market businesses. He has provided and continues to provide financial consulting services and is a board member of numerous businesses across a broad spectrum of industries. Since 2014, Zack has been involved at Sunrise, first as a consultant and current CEO. Under his co-leadership with Eric Harrington, Sunrise Systems Electronics Co., Inc. recently acquired SESA America, Inc., and now, as Sunrise SESA Technologies, Inc., it has become a reputable provider of high-quality LED displays and lighting solutions serving hundreds of partners and customers in the United States and in twenty-two countries abroad. In his limited spare time, Zack enjoys reading, Cape Cod summers, skiing, traveling with his wife, and taking long walks (10 to 15 miles) with his three daughters.

Eric Harrington joined Sunrise in 2005, after working at the top of his field at GE. He has a passion for innovation which has lead him to develop new technologies and implement them in a wide variety of projects. Outside of work Eric enjoys spending time in Vermont with his family and dogs.

Renée is a licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant) with experience in audit, accounting and tax in a number of different industries.She has been in the accounting/tax industry for approx. 13 years and began as a consultant for Sunrise and joined the company as a full-time employee (CFO) in 2019.She loves spending time with family, traveling, and learning new skills

Steve Budak started his career at Sunrise Systems 14 years ago, working on large sign development and installations bringing extensive experience to all. Outside of work, Steve has a passion for spending time with his family.

Brendan McCarthy started his career in Manufacturing Engineering after graduating from NUI Galway in Ireland. He joined SESA in 2019 after working in the casino industry for many years. While he is relatively new to ITS, he is a fast learner. Outside of work, Brendan has a passion for sailing and water sports.

Muhammad manages all SESA projects associated with the Western Region of the United States and is based in Chicago, IL. Muhammad is tech-savvy and comes from a strong background in telecommunications, emerging tech, and has been working in ITS since 2017. Muhammad’s strives to offer the most sensible solution(s) and believes in having a customer-first attitude and team approach that makes working with him easy. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new foods, staying active, and is an avid watch collector.

Luke Collier started his career in Events after graduating from Royal Holloway in England. He joined Sunrise in 2020 after many years as a manager in the hospitality industry. Outside of work Luke has a passion for rugby, and current affairs.

Jeff has a degree in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in Engineer project management. He has experience with ISO 9001 and Lean Manufacturing training. Jeff has spent the past 3 years in the field of ITS and 11 years in manufacturing previously. Outside of work Jeff is passionate about friends, and family (especially his godson Tyler). and also enjoys duckpin bowling and billiards.

Matt Williams started his career at Sunrise six years ago and enjoys being hands-on overseeing a diverse team of Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Firmware engineers. Outside of work Matt has a passion for cooking and challenges others in BBQ contests.

Stephanie has a Bachelor’s in Manufacturing Engineering and worked as an Assistant Project Engineer for a systems integration manufacturing company that specialized in design/build of automated manufacturing lines prior to joining Sunrise Systems. With 5 years in the manufacturing field, she has worked on a variety of different projects including automotive parts lines, medical device testing lines, government projects, and communication device manufacturing lines. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, going to parks and beaches, and exploring Massachusetts and New England.
